 Macmillan Information Centres at Frimley Park and Wexham Park Hospitals: open full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, for both drop ins and appointments. Contact details for The Fountain Centre, Surrey

 The Fountain Centre at Royal Surrey Cancer Centre, Guildford: supports anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. It is offers information, complementary therapies, symptom control, psychological support, welfare benefits advice, a wig service or a cup of tea and a chat.

The Fountain Centre is open weekdays. Call on 01483 406618

Local Citizens Advice Services for people

affected by cancer

 Macmillan Citizens Advice Service is a team of dedicated Citizens Advice advisors for people in Surrey affected by cancer and funded by Macmillan Cancer Support.

Advice and support is given over the phone or as outreach at East Surrey Hospital, Ashford Hospital, St Peter’s Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital.

 The Macmillan East Sussex Benefits Advice Service provides a comprehensive welfare benefits advice serve to people affected by cancer and their families, including undertaking benefits checks and assisting with claims.

 Macmillan West Sussex Welfare Benefits Advice can answer one-off enquiries or referrals to other specialist services such as debt advice.

Patient Access

Patient Access is the name of the service which is delivered by EMIS Health on behalf of many GP practices to enable patients to access a variety of GP services online.

It provides a weekly round-up to Patients, which this week (29Aug23) was “Why is Skin Cancer on the rise aong older adults”

It also connects you to health services when you need them most. E.g. Swiftqueue for booking Blood Apointments.
